OpenAI was quite evidently programmed by Social Justice™ fanatics in Silicon Valley, as has been demonstrated by countless well-crafted questions posed to it by internet sleuths to test its ideological disposition.
Perhaps the most shocking of these questions posed to OpenAI variation was a recent variation of the classic “trolley problem,” a philosophical dilemma defined by Britannica: Foot imagined the dilemma of “the driver of a runaway tram which he can only steer from one narrow track on to another; five men are working on one track and one man on the other; anyone on the track he enters is bound to be killed.” If asked what the driver should do, “we should say, without hesitation, that the driver should steer for the less occupied track,” according to Foot. (Foot’s description of this example has been generally interpreted to mean that the tram is traveling down the track on which five people are working and will kill those people unless the driver switches to the track on which one person is working, in which case the tram will kill only that person.) Foot then compared this situation to a parallel case, which she described as follows: “Suppose that a judge or magistrate is faced with rioters demanding that a culprit be found for a certain crime and threatening otherwise to take their own bloody revenge” on five hostages. “The real culprit being unknown, the judge sees himself as able to prevent the bloodshed only by framing some innocent person and having him executed.” In both cases, she notes, “the exchange is supposed to be one man’s life for the lives of five.” What, then, explains the common judgment that it would be at least morally permissible to divert the runaway tram to the track where only one person is working...

AI is a monster that we will not be able to control very shortly.
We don’t have to listen to it.
The “ethics” of AI can be determined easily by looking at the results of any political query using the google search engine.
Google search is programmed to lie. Google has been hugely influential in the development of generalized AI algorithms, so who thinks google all at once got religion and removed their institutional bias?
Nope, we don’t, but our water, power, sewer and internet (I repeat myself) will...
The problem—which Orwell foresaw in “1984”—is that future generations may only get to hear the “party line”—everything else will be banned.
Humans cannot believe what they cannot even know about...
I’ve heard of massive deaths within a week if water in big cities is shut down.
Remember how worthless the New Orleans people were after Katrina? They would all literally wait at a government center until their deaths instead of treading out of town by foot.
This makes this AI extremely racist. Making Hitler and every other tyrant dictator look like playground bullies in comparison.
Pray for white people. The people who gave us every good technological advance only for it to end up as an AI that kills them (us). The irony is so thick, you could spread it on white bread or crackers.
ICWYDT...
No, we don’t.
But if TPTB decide to and enforce it, it will not end well for us.
Ah, “Please the AI DEI hall monitor or NO BUGZ FOR YOU!”
I get it, used for enforcement, not just for propaganda.
“AI is a monster that we will not be able to control very shortly.”
Steven Hawking predicted computers would destroy humanity by 2050.
Please don’t tell the AI. I’d be moved up the kill list.
I’m glad someone caught it. ;)
