One thing I find amazing about all of the antivax/Covid conspiracies is that, on the one hand, we are suppose to believe a wild science fiction scenario in which Chinese scientists maliciously created a killer virus to destroy humanity. But, on the other hand, we are supposed to believe that Covid is no worse than any other cold, that all of the excess deaths caused by Covid were caused by something else, and that an FDA approved vaccine is more dangerous than catching Covid.
And we are supposed to believe both of these narratives at the same time without being bothered by or even noticing the obvious contradictions.
This is why I stick to the scientific explanations rather than conspiracies.

Here is what many rational people think:
Chinese scientists, in complicity with the U.S., created a killer virus of which they, in their incompetence, lost control.
The entire world economy was shattered as all the perfectly healthy people were quarantined. Millions of lives were shattered as family businesses were destroyed.
Promising therapeutics were quashed in the interest of emergency FDA approval of a novel gene therapy which was rushed into distribution at Warp Speed, bypassing the usual testing safeguards. As a result, hundreds of thousands of people, instead of being treated with the therapeutics, were intubated and died. Alone. Their loved ones weren’t even allowed to hold funerals.
Sane, intelligent people who wished to analyze the risk/benefit ratio of the novel therapy vs Covid 19, were ridiculed and had their lives cancelled.
The Democrats seized upon the opportunity and eliminated voting integrity in the name of safety.

Now explain why this is supposed to be presumed natural, when two Nobel Prize winning virologists said that that’s what made them think it was man-made. ...And you’ll also have to explain why, a *year* after the Nature article more or less commissioned by Peter Daszak to “prove” Covid-1984 was natural, Ralph Baric wrote an editorial in Science, saying that there should be a formal investigation whether Covid-1984 was man-made or not.
Then you have the “bat lady” in China talking explicitly about modifications to the S1 spike protein to see how they could improve its binding; and Daszak’s grant proposal for EcoHealthAlliance.
Two Nobel virologists and the two top groups in the world on gain of function, saying artificial creation of THIS strain, is likely.
That makes it a plausible, forever.
And no longer even the slightest loophole to use the word kook.
And what do you know, there’s a Chinese lab doing this crap in the very city the outbreak happens.

What if they were in the early stages, and looking for a virus to use to sew short-term, intense disruption in an enemy, as a short-term advantage, say, to distract the US during an invasion of Taiwan? <,p> What is funny, though, is you continue to ignore the response of the Chicoms authorities, including massive tank trucks fogging entire neighborhoods with disinfectant chemicals, and a total quarantine of a city of 11 million people during the Chinese New Year. And wasn’t it the CDC, FDA, and government in general that said “SAFE AND EFFECTIVE”, they never have explained why people who were vaccinated and boosted kept getting COVID did they?
