If you’re a Christian with a gay or trans child, and you want a lecture on how wrong your beliefs are, just browse YouTube.
There you’ll find a mother telling her adoring Ted Talks audience that, when forced to choose between her evangelical church and her lesbian daughter, she chose her daughter. Then there’s the Reformed Presbyterian pastor announcing his resignation from the denomination because of the harm its non-affirming policies did to his gay son. And there’s Piers Morgan, cross-examining Christian entertainer Kirk Cameron as to why Cameron wouldn’t affirm a gay son, if he had one.
The message is clear: affirm your children or reject your children. And there’s no Curtain Number Three.

They deliberately try to only offer 2 choices to paint you into a corner - either you’re a ‘tolerant good person’ or you’re an ‘intolerant hatful bigot’.
There is no consideration for the concept of being able to continue to love your kids while asserting what consequences come with being gay.
I had to chuckle at the honesty of one trans dude...the (flamboyant) outfit worn having many prescription bottles of drugs to fight various STD’s attached to it. When asked, “aren’t you on “PrEP?” the answer was, “of course, but I still need to be able to fight off all the other things I might get”.
The shear mechanics of gay sex result in any infection spreading rapidly among that population. It isn’t healthy. Trying to just ignore facts and assert that it’s nothing but normal is factually wrong.
They don’t like it but the analogy to taking heroin is more true than they’d care to think about. I suppose when you come FROM a position of hate, toward anyone that doesn’t agree, you can only fathom any disagreement must include the same sentiment in return....even though it isn’t.
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, Joe Dallas is staunchly conservative on this issue.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
King James Version
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

App keeps crashing when I tried to put the link in the above
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof
We might as well call their events "2 Timothy 3:1-5 Parades."
Parents need love their children without approving of or pandering to their sin.
If I had kids they’d be bipolar so, I’d only be rejecting one half of them...
I don’t reject my kids even when their behavior is wrong.
I wouldn’t reject my kid unless he gave me a choice.
I get that it is a serious issue, and these people that construct those moral traps that if you don’t put yourself in one of those two boxes to be a “Good Person”, then you are “Evil Incarnate” is cruel and destructive to some people who really struggle with this issue (from the perspective of the person who is being told they only have two choices consisting of accepting their child in everything they do, or reject their child totally.)
I agree with you-Leftists are all in on manichean (binary) choices when it suits their ideological goals, otherwise, everything is at least 256 shades of gray.
so true, stars.
how we choose to live in this earthly body, corrupt as it is, is somehow vital to our salvation or our damnation. when it’s gone, it seems that nothing else can be done.
i’m always careful never to close the door completely on God, though. with Him, all things are still possible.
cheers and a merry, merry Christmas, stars.
