97 HOUSTON – COVID-19 is continuing to make its presence known across the world as it adapts and evolves into a new strand.
American Medical Association Vice President of Science, Medicine and Public Health, Andrea Garcia, JD, MPH, said HV.1 has become the variant responsible for most COVID cases here in the United States in just a few short weeks. According to an article from the TODAY Show, the omicron subvariant accounts for nearly one-third of cases nationwide and is “highly infectious.”

Yeah, but it’s not going to be safe to leave your house and go to high traffic locations...like polling places for instance, until at least mid November.
Many got the original jabs because they trusted Trump.
I have never understood the “Dog Park” think. Our town, and extremely leftist one, set one up.
Trump signed this in standing side by side fauci. Trump is still bragging about the billions he save around the globe with lockdowns, big pharma blank checks and mail in ballots.
It’s a 3-day cold. I just got over it. Isolated from my 95 year old father only.
Sure there is......12 oz. Curls, repeat as needed.
“I don’t know of one unjabbed person who’s had China virus, in the past year.”
Same here.
Everyone I know who’s unvaxxed got covid ONCE.
Everyone I know who’s had covid multiple times has been vaxxed.
Don’t freaking care!!
What meds did you use?
I say BS!
Nothing.
I was in the hospital, overnight, for a procedure.
My Sister and BIL came down, to visit, though I told them not to.
A few days later they call and tell me they have it.
Both are vaxxed and have had it multiple times.
He had to get it for his job.
I tested and it was positive.
Very, very mild sore throat and slightly stuffy nose which I attributed to anesthesia and breathing tube.
I’m not vaxxed.
First time I’ve had it.
Wouldn’t have known if the hadn’t told me to test.
BKMRK.
Sooooo...your dog makes friends with my dog...and before you know it, my house gets robbed...and my dog never barked.
I'm sooooo Columbo....
Blow your nose, have some chicken noodle soup and get over it.
Everyone should have Ivermectin at home. Voila.
Azithromycin in case it gets into the lungs and goes bacterial.
I think the medical world is aware that viruses mutate an each mutation is more contagious than the last bUt, each mutation is not as severe. THAT is the part they leave out of their FEAR PORN I don’t give a flip how serious it gets I am not getting your poison dart so FOAD NHC an the rest of you buggers!

Completely missing from this and every other attempt to scare the crap out of us: any mention whatsoever of the lethality of this strain. That absence tells you this is a cold.
My grandson got this last week. It spread to my daughter, then me, my dad and finally another son—all within a week. It was only one day of fever and a couple days of feeling like a cold. It was gone by the 4th day with some lingering cough. It’s not the nightmare the media hoped for.
That kind of statement was common in earlier news about COVID, but it doesn't seem likely if you study the dynamics of infections. Two variants of a contagious illness should coexist for a while in the environment with each spreading at the rate determined by its degree of contagiousness.
Minor variants should not exhibit wildly different degrees of contagiousness with one variant being so contagious that its rate of infection ends up being the most common variant in "just a few short weeks".
I am not sure what the scientific meaning of a "short week" is, perhaps they borrowed the term from industry where it refers to weeks where people have one day off for a holiday.
