The man fatally shot by a California Highway Patrol officer on a Los Angeles freeway was a troubled struggling actor — whose family always “backed the blue” before seeing video of him killed by “absolute police brutality,” his stepmom said.
Jesse Dominguez, an aspiring actor working as a waiter and living in a sober living facility due to drug addiction, was shot dead by police during what his family claims was likely a mental health crisis while he was living sober living facility

The drugs rotted the brain 🧠 of Jesse.
Lots of ‘actors’ in LA ‘struggle’, but very few of them make a cop shoot them.
The “actor” tried tazing the cop?
you shoot rabid dogs ,you dont try to pet them.
This likely got him shot”
“ California Highway Patrol cops responded to reports of Dominguez walking along the 105 Freeway in Watts, not far from the sober living facility where he lived.
When confronted by the officer, Dominguez “was able to access a Taser,” which he used against the officer, CHP Officials said.”
That’s right.
Indeed.
Most likely.
Every drug-addled homeless bum in L.A. is a “struggling actor.”
so it wasn’t Martin Sheen eh?
But shot on the freeway? Bad writing.
The family supported the cops until their lawyer told them how much money they could make suing the police
Mom’s statement is emblematic of the problem in America today… “I don’t know why the officer thought to engage. If someone is walking on the freeway, something is not right. They’re either in mental health crisis or something else is happening,” she said.
“He was not trying to hurt anybody. Why did he have to use that type of force? After [the officer] had already discharged his firearm once, why did he stand up and then do it again and again and again?”
The guy was walking in traffic along the freeway. The cop had a duty to “engage” him. Had they not…the family would be complaining that the police were negligent for not protecting him.
When the officer tried to “engage’ him to get him to safety he shot the officer with a taser. So he was “trying to hurt someone.” Then he struggled with the officer and became a threat. I.e. he was trying to hurt someone. The officer then had to shoot him. These people.
"The end of his life was unfathomable to Dominguez’s family members, who knew the 33-year-old as a troubled man who was a “softie” and wanted more than anything to be an actor, though he never got any roles."
So, he was not an actor. He had never acted in anything.
I think the video of him being killed is his only film credit.
what was the police officer supposed to do?
Why wasn’t his loving family caring for him? Oh, more money now? When will the “executed by the cops” cry come out?
You’re right.
Next time it will be like that young female police officer a few years ago who hesitated in firing and was shot and said from the hospital: “What went through my mind was if I fire at him will I be the next front page headline against cops?”
