Mayor Eric Adams has announced budget cuts to pay for the “migrant crisis.” This includes slashing Gotham’s police force.
In addition, the city has announced that it will close public libraries on weekends and cut almost $550 million from its Education Department.

So for hundreds of thousands of 3rd world invaders all over the streets draining resources - New Yorkers get to deal with garbage that isn’t picked up, a rat crises, fewer teachers, fewer cops and fewer fire fighters.

Heard an interview with Trump yesterday who said he saw so many migrants on the sidewalks of NY City, sitting around talking on cell phones, that they were in the street b/c there was no more room on the sidewalks.
He also asked where these destitute migrants got all of these cell phones and who is paying for them. Called it a “disgrace,” of course.

Talk about irony of ironies...bring in ILLEGAL invaders, many of whom are criminals, then cut your police force to pay for those invaders. It’ll make things a lot easier for the invading criminals to ply their trade.
Makes perfect sense.
How about this instead? Take ONE night’s housing cost for each invader and buy him or her an airplane ticket back to his or her home country. The problem would be gone overnight, you’d save billions, and you could keep your already-meager police force.
It should be mentioned Adams is an ex-police officer, and won the mayor’s office by rumning as a law & order candidate, against a progressive candidate.
We have seen this movie many times already.
When Leftists are forced to cut government spending, they cut the services most needed by the people in order to inflict as much pain as possible.
After cutting the police spending, NYC will next cut garbage collection.
And by the way I do not feel sorry at all for the NYC residents because they voted for their leftist leaders.
Mayor Adams has been accused of sexually assaulting a former colleague in 1993 in a lawsuit seeking at least $5 million filed just before the deadline for the Adult Survivors Act.
CUT the ‘education budget” while ADDING THOUSANDS of school age kids to the population......
That is like putting only 5 gallons of gas in when you are headed to Death Valley.
God forbid he cut back on MIGRANT Services...
A trash can on every corner is one of the things I’ve always liked about NYC. I will compulsively carry trash for blocks because I just can’t litter.... NYC made my life easier.
