But Biden’s wide open border is producing another dangerous factor — deploying air marshals to the border and away from their role of monitoring passengers on flights for potential threats.
Sonya LaBosco, director of the Air Marshal National Council, told Fox News travelers in the U.S. are being left “unsafe.” “We are not flying right now. We just received an email last week that resources are depleted as far as our flying air marshals,” LaBosco said. “We are ushering in illegal immigrants on the border and leaving the traveling public unsafe.”
According to LaBosco, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and its subsidiary, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), are to blame, beginning with TSA administrator David Pekoske.
Citing a letter Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) sent to Pekoske, LaBosco said air marshals deployed in the border region are “passing out water” and are “not doing law enforcement duties.”
