The Honenu organization sent a rushed request to the Israel Police Force on Wednesday demanding it oversee the release of the 14-year-old terrorist who stabbed Moriah Cohen in the Shimon Hatzaddik (Sheikh Jarrah) neighborhood in Jerusalem in December 2021.
The request comes after the publication of the list of prisoners who are expected to be released as part of the deal to release the hostages, in which the terrorist's name appears.
The letter sent by Cohen's lawyer, Adv. Ofer Steiner from Honenu demands the assurance that the terrorist will not be released until steps are taken to protect the family, who lives next to the family of the terrorist.
In the letter, Adv. Steiner wrote that from the moment the expected release was made known, fear has overcome the family. According to him, "That same terrorist, who never expressed remorse for her actions, who was not afraid to commit the actions even in front of my client's young children who were walking with her to school, who waited coldheartedly until my client would be in the best spot to stab and murder her, will return to the same street, to walk freely on the sidewalk in arms reach of my client and her children.
In light of this, the lawyer asked to use the authority given to the Homefront Command and the Israel Police Force to distance the terrorist from the home of Cohen, not only from the neighborhood but even from the city....

Moriah's husband, Dvir, revealed that the teenage girl who tried to murder his wife is a neighbor of his family.
“She was our neighbor, and she knows us. Of course, they weren’t the kind of neighbors you could borrow eggs or milk from. We suffered daily harassment from them,” he told the press...

Israeli leadership is under some kind of strange spell. Trying to be noble and a moral standout looks kind of weird.
Maybe someone will Seth Rich the terrorist....
What Israel is doing is insane
You want to off a 14 year old girl? She ought not to be let out of prison ‘til she’s at least fat and middle-aged, so she doesn’t breed. But it just doesn’t work to off her.
She’s sour sixteen now. My mistake. She was flat-chested fourteen when she stabbed her neighbor.
Why doesn’t Israel just execute these murderers/terrorists? If they had done that this woman and other wouldn’t be available for a swap.
We are really going to have to execute a lot more people going forward than we are doing currently.
To encourage the others.
What’s the problem - it’s doing society a favor.
So it's better to "off" her neighbor?
Is it possible this is a bit of a ploy by Israel? That is, deliberately include on the tentative (and that’s what it is) list to be released a number of terrorists that communities will obviously object to vociferously. This draws attention to the sorts who are in Israeli jails. This particular case demonstrates what Israel is up against, too...
Either keep her in prison ‘til she can’t breed, or send her to some far-off village, Wadi elFodunk elCuzinFook, or whatever, to live out her life. Her and her entire degenerate family.
Society can do without “favors” that change them into something ugly. Wadi elFodunk elCuzinfook, where you have to either grow your own food or starve. It’ll do both society and them a favor.
“He’s coming right at us!”
Jimbo’s de facto “executions”.
No, I don’t. But in that part of the ME, you never know...
Sounds like a target rich environment for the family.
She committed attempted murder. Murder is a capital offense. Attempted murder gets death for her and the whole family? They all deserve exile to Wadi elFodunk elCuzinfook, but that’s it. This court has ruled! Wack!
Israel has a Deep State, too...
Let them be Wadi elFodunk elCuzinfook’s problem.
Israel needs not early but immediate elections. Ben Gvir has more sense than anybody else. Enough of Bibi’s undecisiveness! Let’s get the job done!
