A growing number of Americans and Europeans as well have lost the will to defend their own societies and borders, and have little interest in helping anyone else defend theirs.
That’s a very good point as it pertains to government and institutions, but it also raises a lot of opposition to all forms of foreign assistance among ordinary Americans.
