Upon inspection it seems like it’s big in India and outside of the USA.

My workplace employs many eastern Indians. The LED signs are up to date on all the special "days", and yes, International Men's Day was flashing all week. Very silly.

We just ended Ethics Week, so when they were handing out cards with Whistleblower Phone Numbers at the front door, I told them that I was anticipating the end of the week, when I could go back to being unethical. That drew a nervous laugh.

They cleverly scheduled Men's Day for a Sunday. No one wished me a Happy Men's Day at church. We celebrated St. ELizabeth of Hungary instead.

I think we may be seeing the early thaw on a lot of nonsense.

A few times recently I jokingly referred to my “toxic masculinity” and the people hearing me took it as a good-natured joke. If it was 2 years ago, I’d be ripped to pieces.

To be fair, you have to pick your audience. Further, the ultra leftist mob have no funny bone. But I feel like the pendulum has peaked, and is swinging toward the center.
