My electric bill has gone up whopping 50% since DeSantis became governor. He is focused on social issues, which do not affect my everyday life. Property tax has jumped up huge under DeSantis. Good thing, DeSantis can not run for 3rd term in FLorida.

DeSantis is the great anti woke warrior because those issues generally have a consensus in the party.(These are safe issues for him)
Where DeSantis is being coy, like he acted while running his shadow campaign before he announced, is in areas where conservatives are divided.(Foreign policy, finance, trade, military intervention, federal budget, etc)
He’s trying to “thread a needle” while running around on a tight rope with ear plugs & a blindfold on.
His chances of success during the ‘2024 rodeo’ are very slim.
