Of course, the great “conservative” himself.
FR should keep in mind. These are the eight who drew the “short straw”.
If these eight voted for Impeachment, there would be another eight to vote to send it to Committee. And if not them, another eight. And another eight.
If a quarter of the Repub Conference is for real on this issue, I would be surprised.

We see why McHenry was named acting Speaker by McCarthy. McHenry is Uniparty, and there are more Uniparty Republicans in the House than this. They can get as many as they need on any given vote. All of these RINOs need to be primaried. The Committee on Homeland Security should immediately vote to send this back to the floor of the House. There is more than enough evidence of the illegal invasion everywhere. Republicans need to put their house in order and clean out the RINOs or nothing will every change.

“Ken Buck and Tom McClintock protecting Democrats”
Ken Buck is going to be Joe Scarborough 2.0 (but without actually murdering anyone, probably):
Another ex-conservative who has decided he now despises all conservatives and most Republicans, leaves Congress and runs off to an ultra-liberal media outlet (in Buck’s case, CNN) to become a frothing-at-the-mouth Republican hater.

I’m seeing daily Hispanic themed US Army recruiting ads here in Florida on youtube, etc. It’s not hard to see where the military wants to find its new recruits.

Ultimately, Republicans were unable to keep their whole conference united in their efforts to embarrass the Biden administration. Even if the chamber had succeeded, there was little path for Republicans to find the two-thirds majority required for conviction in the Democratic-controlled Senate. Wiliam Belknap, secretary of war under President Grant, is the only cabinet secretary to be impeached after the House did so in 1876. He resigned before facing trial in the Senate.

Without a 2/3 majority to convict and remove in the Senate, it would be a meaningless gesture.

The embarrassment is that Republicans are neither a true opposition party, nor as group do they care to require that the executive branch faithfully executes the laws. It can't be questioned that we have an invasion of our Southern border, and no one is being held accountable. If the Senate declines to convict the oath breakers, then those who vote against the constitution may be held accountable. Not making them hold a trial means that our constitution and laws are meaningless.

The idea is for Hispanics to replace African-Americans as our largest ethnic minority, and to turn the U.S. into Brazil so our elites can rule be divide and conquer. They have a Hispanic Bush they want to make president.
