I don't know about Norway, but the Biden Administration is determined to cripple the energy industry, except for politically favored wind and solar. You likely know more about Canada than I do, but Trudeau seems to be a non-senile version of Biden, as bad if not worse than the current occupant of the White House.

Pipeline capacity out of Canada is limited.
The Blue-eyed Arabs of the North won’t increase production. They’ll bank the higher profits.
