Former President Trump says he’d consider Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate in 2024.

“I like Tucker a lot; I guess I would,” Trump said during an appearance on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” this week. “I think I’d say I would, because he’s got great common sense.”

“You know, when they say that you guys are conservative, or I’m conservative — it’s not that we’re conservative, we have common sense. We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall, because walls work,” he said.

I want Trump at the top of the ticket. Vp less important but I do think it would be wise to take someone from outside of government. At least someone outside of the Federal apparatus.

WLRN.org----Trump was joined at a massive rally of tens of thousands of supporters by mixed martial arts fighter Jorge Masvidal, and famed comedienne, Roseanne Barr, who led the crowd in a profane chant and called him a “MAGA-dor,” playing off his Make America Great Again slogan. US Senate candidate Kari Lake, of Arizona, and former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle also were in attendance, firing up the stadium crowd.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was Trump’s former White House press secretary, introduced Trump. She praised Trump as a leader, a mentor, a boss, saying the country needs Trump “to finish what he started eight years ago.” The massive Florida crowd kept shouting, “We want Trump,” before the president finally took the stage at about 8:20 p.m.

I’d vote that ticket, wouldn’t even blink. An arrangement should’ve been work out a year ago.

But nope, we settle for a clown show of weak candidates, a bunch of campaign cash burning up, and the potential for a fratricidal blood bath.

Had Cameron won the Kentucky governorship, I would have liked to see Trump select Rand Paul to be his VP (and be the presumptive frontrunner for 2028). Have to rethink that now.

Tucker was a collaborator in The Steal, too. He was MIA in Nov and Dec 2020 while the election was being stolen from President Trump.
