Democrat Daniel McCaffery won the race for a 10-year term on Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court, defeating Republican Carolyn Carluccio, according unofficial election results. The Associated Press called the race for McCaffery shortly before 11 p.m.

The Supreme Court election, one of three statewide judicial elections on this year’s ballot, was dominated by millions in third-party spending on campaign advertising that brought the campaign down to the singular issue of abortion.

Democrats Jill Beck, an attorney, and Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Timika Lane led the race for two Superior Court seats, according to unofficial results. Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Matthew Wolf is the Democratic led the race for a Commonwealth Court seat, unofficial results showed.

Pittsburgh really dodged a bullet there. The progressive was all about restorative justice, giving criminals 101 chances, etc.

Yeah, but look at what they voted themselves for County Controller.

Really glad we abandoned Allegheny County and went to Westmoreland.

Fundamentally, its all about disintegration of our culture, which was the underpinning of our once great nation. Cultural rot has set in and its nearly impossible to reverse.

Yeah but the County Executive position for Allegheny County is now in the hands of a far-left woman who makes no secret of the fact that she is a Democratic Socialist. The Republican candidate, a centrist who emphasized law and order, economic development, and energy came close, but in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh area) Democrats win even if they nominate a nut case like this woman.

Abortion abortion abortion. Women think it’s more important than any other issue.

It's the perfect wedge issue. Human life means nothing to the hedonists. Yet, Republicans need to be smarter on that issue. Otherwise, we enable the Dems to steal more elections. The modern American female is married to the state, and doesn't want a man in her life. Any man whom they can't control, they need the cops and DA's to handle. McCaffery billed himself as a former prosecutor who was an abortionist. That's all the leftist women needed to vote for a man over a woman for SCoPA. In January, SCoPA will have five Dems to three Republicans to legislate from the bench for another stolen election in 2024.

Sigh.

Look, does fraud happen? Yes.

Is Fraud why McCaffery won? No

Is Fraud why Fetterman won? No

Is Fraud why Joe Biden won? Absolutely.

Let’s just start out with the whole dominion thing.... While different areas do their own thing. the main tabulators used in PA, are NOT made by dominion. So, lets just throw that out the window to start.

Secondly, as someone who has lived in PA for closing in on 40 years now.. and work every election for nearly 10 years now... I can tell you, anyone pushing the fraud angle for the supreme court election, and the previous Senate election are just liars or buffoons or both.

People need to stop listening to abject morons like Hannity et al telling them how PA operates, and what PA is like.

This was a supreme court race, that was the biggest race on the ballot for most of the state, other districts may have had other more local municipal things going on, but statewide that was the top race.... and like it or not... that’s not going to be a huge draw... so your election is likely going to wind up just like it did...

Hard core D’s voted D... Hard core R’s voted R, and the I’s for the most part split pretty much down the middle. Democrats used Abortion to try to wedge the issue and motivate their base... but the end result from the numbers doesn’t honestly look like it moved the needle... race turned out to be pretty much what the most likely outcome as going to be.

This wasn’t due to fraud, it was due to the very nature of the electorate breakdown... this would be a typical election in PA if you just had 2 faceless candidates on the ballot that no one knew anything about and just had an R beside one and a D beside the other.

Allegheny County is 58% D, 28% R in terms of registration.

The D won by less than 9k votes and less than 2% of the vote. Which means she was pretty solidly rejected by a LOT of Ds... however, a more than 2 to 1 registration advantage is hard to overcome.

She doesn’t have a mandate, the Democratic machine in Allegheny County does not support her.. We’ll see how it goes, but I suspect this little loudmouth is going to find that winning the election doesn’t remotely equate to really being able to do much. She’s got a huge target on her back, and it will be the other democrats that will be putting the knives in her.

Wrong...dirty WHORES that use their private parts as an amusement park are convinced it is important by their masters because the drain on government resources was getting too large to maintain.

I don’t believe it. It’s voter fraud in PA. No reforms were made in this state after 2020, and look who their Governor is .

I don’t think so. I’ll tell you why. Pennsylvania’s population is about 12,000,000. Philly has a city proper population of 1,500,000 or so. P-Burgh has barely 300,000. The rest of the urban cores have 200,000 or less. Not enough to control the state. Most Pennsylvanians live in suburban collar counties around the cities. Middle class and upper class soccer moms and young college kid territory. No matter what the D’s do, these voter groups have always been their get out of jail free card.

Deny it all you want but it is abortion. WyMAN! (hear them roar!) have been spooked by the Supreme Court ruling. And the media has created this ominous atmosphere where Republicans want a TOTAL ban on abortion and want to reverse same-sex marriage. Double whammy with WyMAN! (hear them roar!) and young voters coming out in droves to vote for D’s. Meanwhile, in Kentucky, turnout for the governor’s race was 30%. Yes, THIRTY. R’s have been tied to abortion-banning and that is why Trump or whoever is the nominee will lose next year.

The body politic is sick. Civilizational death spiral will ensue.

I'm in SW PA, and the Republican party analysis of last year and this year's elections were shouting the same thing. We heard it all over, from everyone...the SCOTUS ruling REALLY did a number on us. I'll refrain from commenting on what that says about the electorate...
