Democrats in Virginia on Tuesday night retained their majority in the state Senate — a blow to Republicans who were hoping to achieve total control of the state legislature and boost Gov. Glenn Youngkin in his final two years in office.

The GOP also lost control of Virginia’s House of Delegates, with Democrats set to win at least 51 seats in the 100-member lower chamber.

"The loyalty to Trump is truly getting tiresome"

These people will eventually become the equivalent of the Lyndon Larouche nutters when Trump loses in 2024. On November 6th, 2024 they will be lamenting "we was robbed" and start rallying behind Trump 2028, Trump 2032, etc...

And it probably won't end when Trump goes on to leave this mortal coil. There will be some of them who insist he is still alive and will continue to vote for him

If Trump is not the nominee I couldn’t care less who it is. It wont mstter to.me that Biden is elected again.

So sayeth the Only Trumpers.

Electoral politics is about addition, not subtraction. But Only Trumpers only know subtraction, and then blame vote fraud for Trump being 1-3 in national elections, with the streak being 3 losses.

If Biden is on the ballot next November, which I doubt, perhaps he will subtract voters faster than Trump. But, I doubt that too.

“ somehow ”

Do it with who you want, when, where, and how you want, bank the benefits, socialize the consequences, and leave no survivors to expose your sins.

What’s not to like?

Abortion is the problem. Republicans cheered when the SCOTUS overruled Roe, but that has made it much more difficult for Republicans to win in purple states.

I think the problem is that the kind of America conservatives envision doesn’t exist anymore.

Got it in one.

Just skimming the comments on the various posts regarding last night's election results tells you all you need to know about the future of this country. Self-identifying "conservatives" telling themselves that, hey, we're really in the majority. It's just that the Dems cheat!

Deluded fools. The country they grew up in, the country they imagine they're living in, doesn't exist anymore. It just doesn't. But they remain firmly in denial.

It's really quite pathetic.

Because Miss Lindsey opened her hole and talked about a Federal Abortion Ban right afterwards.

"If there's no fraud, what's Deep State trying to hide."

Of course there's fraud, and everyone knows it. But the dim's don't care one way or the other.. NO ONE is going to do anything about it.!

"We The People." That idea has become about as useful as a paper shirt in hell.! We're all trans-gender now... (spit)

I support Tulsi Gabbard, I would vote for her over Trump at this point.

I have no use for the others.

Republicans have had since 2020 to fix fraud and have done zip.

I am very familiar with VA election law. The Dems enacted voting laws making it very easy to cheat a few years ago when they controlled VA government. Every time the Republicans made an attempt to tighten the laws since, they were blocked by the Democrat held Senate. Youngkin and the Republicans repeatedly said the first thing they were going to do if they gained control was undo all those changes. All we needed to do was find a way to win a couple of tight races this cycle and it would be done. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

Stop the TDS BS.

Trump had nothing to do with VA results other than the derangement in your own mind.

Establishment/globalist/Uniparty have been telling us since Youngkin’s win that he was the prototype of the non Trump future of the party.

Anything establishment talking point/lie crashed and burned last night in Virginia…

The average voter might be dumb, but he sure can’t win with good intentions against Democrat cheating. Yeah, I know...some of them will say there is no cheating & the other Dems will swear to it, but in the long run something must be remembered...and that is that God is not mocked.

Yep, it definitely is completely socialized across the spectrum. I saw yesterday they are doing the same thing with turning men on death row into women with the costs socialized. Hard to make sense of what is going on.

YoungForeskin hates MAGA. He is a squish.

Youngkin is a realist. He knows that Trump is poison in purple VA. That knowledge is what allowed him, Sears and Miyares to be elected. The abortion issue is what defeated the Republicans. The over turning of Roe is the worst thing that could have happened to Republicans.
