What do they mean “voting machines”?
Computerized or old mechanical system?
I like the NY machines. It reads a paper ballot.
I would like to see a random audit of the paper ballots and compare them to the machine results.
Computerized, of course. Easy to program them to do anything you want and since the algorithm is considered corporate secrets and the public is not allowed to review it.
If the article is read, one discovers that it is the ES&S touch screen voting station. A programming error noticed by voters reading their ballots. It affected 2 judge races.
