United States Finally Begins Pressuring Ukraine to Start Peace Talks with Putin: Report
Breitbart ^ | 11/06/2023 | Kurt Zindulka

Posted on 11/06/2023 9:28:39 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

After hundreds of thousands of lives lost and hundreds of billions of dollars spent, American officials have reportedly begun quietly pressuring Ukraine to open peace talks with Russia amid growing concerns about dwindling manpower.

Despite Moscow’s overwhelming military advantage over Kyiv in terms of manpower being apparent from the outset of the war — with Russia having three times the population to draw on than Ukraine — officials in the United States are apparently finally realising the impossibility of the former Soviet state defeating Putin’s forces.

It could have been done in April 2022 but Boris Johnson showed up to STOP any chance of peace talks.

They do suffer a lot. I saw firsthand. The child trafficking alone was staggering enough.

What we actually want is a condition that allows us to freely and openly operate in rump Ukraine and arm it to the teeth, build up an air force and rocket force, conclude security alliances etc.

We cannot do that as long as a conflict exists. That is why we want a ceasefire.
And we will offer Russia nothing except our self serving gift of a cease fire, and our untrustworthy word.
They aren’t stupid. They know there is nothing in it for them.

CIA and State started the war. They can end it.

Nope:

Zaluzhny warned that Russia will “have superiority in weapons, equipment, missiles and ammunition for a considerable time” and that Ukraine needs “new, innovative approaches.”

Not on their own terms. I suspect Russia alone will decide how and when this war ends.

....the difference there is that Israel can go quite a while hammering away at Hamas while resisting US pressure.

Not sure what your point is. Israel exists because of the US taxpayer. Their military and any warring they do is completely funded by us.

Our kids get stuck re-paying the Chinese forevermore.

Been saying this since the beginning. The $ laundering machine has come to a halt and a negotiated settlement will happen. Little Georgie WII will quickly turn on the US/NATO and a lot of embarrassing information about western leaders and the deep states nefarious behavior and their actions will see the light of day. That will occur on social media because the main stream propaganda outlets formerly called the media, will not be allowed to touch the stories with a vaccinated crowbar by their masters in various governments.

Patience all you FR warcons, the middle east may still get you another war.

If I were the Ruskies I would want it to continue as is.

Just sit on the newly gained boundaries and let the West continue throwing their treasury and military gear into a black hole.

It's worked well thus far. They should just add oddessa first, or threaten to.

Assad is still there, after everyone in the U.S. said he had to go. Getting rid of Putin is a few orders of magnitude more difficult.

I utterly despise the Bush clan, but I do miss the nasally way GHWB would say: "Aasss...aadd".
