Even if I were fully vaccinated, I would admire the unvaccinated for standing up to the greatest pressures I have ever seen, including from spouses, parents, children, friends, colleagues, employers and doctors.
People who have been capable of such personality and courage, undoubtedly embody the best of humanity.
They are found everywhere, in all ages, all levels of education, all countries, and opinions.
They are of a particular kind; these are the soldiers that any army of light wishes to have in its ranks.
They are the parents that every child wishes to have and the children that every parent dreams of having.
They are beings above the average of their societies; they are the essence of the peoples who have built all cultures and conquered horizons.

Essentially the same thing happened here.
For me it was easy, while I like some things like the tetanus shot every few years when an accident calls for it, or having the polio vaccine as a kid, or knowing the rabies vaccine is available if ever needed, I was no more interested in this Covid shot than I was the swine flu shot back in that period.
After the first couple or few months of trying to keep up with learning what the huge new threat was it became clear that no one knew what they were doing or particularly cared and that powerful forces of neurotic personalities, monetary greed, and power fetishes were being unleashed.
Between the ventilators obviously killing people and the requiring of sending the deadly infected carriers into the very nursing homes where they would kill the oldest and most sickly elderly that the disease was deadly to, I realized that it was best to just stay out of the way until the killing and chaos by the incompetent and murderous, and profiteers and politicians was over, that this too would pass and was mostly a deadly global mass hysteria.
Anyone who trusted the government to make sound and prudent decisions by the time we got to 2021 was absolutely retarded.

Actually made them look smart, it was a safe hedge against inflation, and some of us use it almost every day! Lol!
My son’s company “mandated” the shot by October 2021. Only my son (in his 20s) and one other employee stood up to them and refused. He even sent his resume out to other companies, expecting to lose his job.
They backed down.
Now, two years later, not only did my son keep his job, he has received two promotions (now is a project manager over all the healthcare/hospital accounts) and a hefty pay raise.
Many of those who got the shots no longer work there, and several that did calling in sick a ton. He is having to work 70 hour weeks to overcome the shortfall (he doesn’t mind so much, he is saving up for a house)
Anyway, the irony is that all of 2020 and 2021, he worked in healthcare settings, even Covid wards, and didn’t get Covid. The first year, he was not wearing a mask either. He told his supervisors that he was not going to mess with his immune system by getting the shot.
My younger son almost got it (he’s 21) because all his friends were. I literally paid him not to. He has since said he is VERY glad he didn’t and his friends all regret it. All of them have had Covid several times, he hasn’t had it yet.

I didn’t want a shot of anything. It would be too easy for someone to take a bribe for delivering a shot of saline and then to give the vax anyway, no need to substitute anything that way.
three of my four kids are purebloods. One daughter took the first shot. She has a part time job working with special needs adult women and got sucked into the protection lie. After the first, she’s not taken any boosters.
One son works as a contractor at NASA. He was under all kinds of pressure and took a religious exemption. His entire department gathered for a Christmas lunch, the first time they’d been together in a year or so. The solitary pureblood was the only one who didn’t catch Covid that day.
My daughter’s main job is as a nanny for a doctor. They pressured her hard but she countered with thoughtful debate.
My last one is a trucker, the most independent of all Americans. (BTW, he crashed and rolled a dump truck last week preventing the deaths of a busload of kids when the bus driver pulled out in front of him.)
I work for a Fortune 500 company that is very conservatively run. They never applied any pressure but I was ready to retire if needed.
My kids are heroes in many ways.

I had gone on the CDC site before Covid to look at flu vaccine info. It was not very convincing, so I didn’t get the flu vaccine.
They advocated one way supermarket aisles, which made no sense to me.
The CDC recommended masks. They cited studies that showed masks stopped droplets. Okay, that’s plausible. Where was the evidence they stopped transmission? I found one study with a small reduction, the third time I looked, over a period of months.
Nothing about the negative effects of masks. Nothing!
It was evident that vitamin D could help outcomes. And losing weight. Nothing promoting either of these easy, cheap protocols. Billions to promote the shots, though.
I lost friends. Harangued and ostracized by family. Treated like a pariah at work.
