Just write loan repayment on the comments line and don’t report it to the IRS. I hear that works in Delaware.

I think that rewards like that aren’t subject to taxation.

"I wonder how much the IRS is going to take." At least 36% plus the 30% or so that goes to the attorneys, leaving the wrongfully accused with about $3 million. Seems a bit light for losing 30 years of your life to a wrongful conviction.
