The "Freedom Convoy for Palestine," organized by the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), departed from Istanbul en route to Incirlik Air Base in Adana on Friday, aiming to show solidarity with Palestine.
Numerous NGOs and citizens assembled under the leadership of the IHH at the parking lot of the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
Participants chanted slogans against Israel and expressed their outrage over the attacks on Gaza.
Bulent Yildirim, the president of the IHH, stated in his remarks that their actions are not only directed against Incirlik Air Base but against all American bases worldwide.

Terrorist supporters need to get a life
If things get hot Incirlik may become untenable.
Wait until they get into a narrow mountain pass. Take out the five lead trucks in the “convoy”. Take out the five tail-end Charlies.
Could even use snipers using high-caliber rounds to do this. No casualties. Just take out the trucks on their way to the air base.
I don’t like it if we even let them get close to that base, never mind encircle it.
I strongly recommend claymores and miniguns around US military facilities at Incirlik.

A couple of years ago the Turkish army closed the roads in and out of Incirlik during some dispute with the US. The Turks are a problem.
and yet theres no warning for Americans against going to Turkey ...
a few years ago they (USAF) stored Tactical nukes there.
I would have thought they were removed at least after the failed coup in 2016.
And to think just a couple days ago on this forum, we were speculating on the presence, number, and security status of US nuclear weapons at Incirlik. How quickly do you think those weapons could get securely removed if base became unsecure?
You are spot on with your suggestions.
You know this ?
I simply don’t like it that we would let them surround that base. Of course, it could be all BS, and I have no doubt that is a pretty big air base, so I doubt some convoy full of Lefty terrorist sympathizers would have enough people to have one person every hundred yards or whatnot.
But the days of being able to predict what will happen in a foreign country which is, on the surface, hostile to us now are gone.
I have heard Turkey is interesting and often urbane, but the real test is-would you go there and walk around alone?
I don’t think I would. Never been there, but it is a muslim country.
Yea, that was the big discussion back then. Im assuming they are still there since our military didnt have time to paint them gay colors.
