Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appears to pull more support from former President Trump than President Biden in a hypothetical general election matchup, according to a new poll.
A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday showed Biden narrowly ahead of Trump by 1 point, 47 percent to 46 percent, within the margin of error, in a head-to-head matchup. But with Kennedy in a three-way race, Biden is ahead with 39 percent to Trump’s 36 percent and Kennedy’s 22 percent.
Pollsters found independents are almost evenly split among the three candidates, with 36 percent supporting Kennedy, 31 percent backing Trump and 30 percent with Biden.

Maybe, there have also been polls showing RFK takes way more votes from Biden. Polls at this stage are, as usually, about shaping a narrative and imo reflect absolutely nothing of reality, they all are cooked, again imo.
Plus we are talking the Hill and Quinnipiac, they are barely a step above CNN

Since Gruesome Newsome will be the likely DNC/Communist party nominee, no 3-way legitimate polls yet on that match-up.

RFK Jr. pulls more votes from Trump than Biden in three-way race
Any Trump voters who are somehow persuaded away by RFK Jr need their heads examined - the man is a hard-core leftist who favors reparations, price controls, student loan forgiveness...he's further to the left than Biden. How can anyone who considers themselves a Trump supporter even think of voting for Kennedy?
To: Skwor
Like Trump, he was never elected to office before running so he has probably been on both sides of every issue.

RFK Jr. Is for reparations and against the 2nd Amendment and says if you don’t believe in Climate Change you should be in jail.
No way he’s pulling votes from Trump. What a fantasy.

Given that this comes from The Hill, I might be disinclined to believe it.
I don't know if the The Hill has changed its views since being bought by Nextstar Media Group in 2021, but the folks there used to hate Trump with a passion.
Nextstar also owns NewsNation BTW...which is pretty good so far.

I never believe polls. They are too often designed and interpreted to give the image the creator wants.

Its the never Trumper GOPe wing - go along to get along - wing of the republican voter base who are looking for an alternative.

I’d say this would be bad news, if I didn’t see it in The Hill. As it is, I’ll wait for an honest report.

Or,better still,Ralph Nader. If Ralph Nader hadn't been on the ballot in New Hampshire we'd be referring to algore today as “former President”.
