Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara have decamped to the luxury mansion with a deep nuclear bunker, amid growing public anger towards the country’s leaders.
The gated mansion in a Jerusalem mansion, owned by US billionaire Simon Falic, comes with high-level security.
It will offer the PM an escape from mounting rage among Israeli citizens who are angry about how Hamas fighters were able to breach Israel’s borders, brutally murder 1,400 men, women and children and grab 220 hostages in the October 7 attacks.
It is not the first time the couple have stayed at the tycoon’s home. There were questions two years ago about why the couple were staying there when they had their own portfolio of properties.
The PM’s move into the mansion caused outrage in Israel last night.

Israel isn't a large country. The lack of active patrolling along the gaza border was grossly incompetent, unacceptable and entirely on the leader of Israel. Simple patrolling would fix any intelligence failures. They had zero. The response time to enemy forces was a failure, and basic security aspects and the settlement outposts failed.
This a entire failure from top to bottom. There was no reason why these communes couldn't have been more prepared. Now, the same order that failed in security will lead the next security measures. We have seen this before.
They need to do something with the Third Reich rising again from the ashes. Just when I thought that Nazi was just an insult thrown at normal Americans by commie liberals who blew through communism straight to fascist Naziism.
The levels of defense for the utter failure of Netanyahu’s govt is amazing to see. Not that he is entirely responsible but, jeez, what a load of whitewashing.

So, really, it’s something of a Falic symbol…
We shouldn’t give Israel any aid.
None. Zero.
“...In other words, take anything this hamas press whore has to say with a mountain of salt...”
More like a PILLAR of salt.

No need to get upset. We Americans have no expectations of canadians. They are useless.
The RAT toadies are trying to “Trump” Netanyahu. Accuse him of everything with their lies and make sure he gets the blame for every evil thing that the far-left wingnuts do.
Because when a nation is at war, its national leaders and their families are never moved to safe, secure facilities…….right?
There needs to be an investigation - when this is over. It appears that Israel was asleep at the switch, and under Netanyahu’s watch. The purpose of these attacks in the media are meant to weaken Israel’s resolve right now. The Gaza mafia has a lot of support from the left who happen to control the media which is capable of puking up a lot of propaganda on their behalf.
“In the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Arab forces were overwhelming Israeli forces and Prime Minister Golda Meir authorized a nuclear alert and ordered 13 atomic bombs be readied for use by missiles and aircraft. The Israeli Ambassador informed President Nixon that “very serious conclusions” may occur if the United States did not airlift supplies. Nixon complied. This is seen by some commentators on the subject as the first threat of the use of the Samson Option.”
Yup. Not gonna sound the broken record.
Just ‘bkmrk’.
I’m in Jerusalem and reading the (Hebrew) papers all day six days a week. There is ZERO outrage or even mention about this alleged move. Everybody except the most crazed ideologues on the very ends of the political spectrum is focused on one thing: destroying Hamas. Everybody knows that after that happens, there will be a reckoning, but there is no “rage” about how the country is or is not failing to confront Hamas.
Israel’s is a citizen army, and a very substantial fraction of fighting age males are either on the Southern border or the Northern border. Nobody wants this done any way other than the right way.
The article is complete nonsense.
I have heard from a source I trust that the public mood there is very negative toward the national leadership...anger at the way Hamas was able to kill so many so quickly.
Look, I kind of get it, though I do support Bibi and think he is the best man for the job at the time. Consider how angry many of us would be if, after all the warnings about the porous southern border, there is a similar type of coordinated attack here in the USA.
Hopefully Bibi will command the IDF appropriately and bring about the utter and complete ruin of Hamas and their allies and this will help the citizenry of Israel see him in a better light.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Head over to Storm Front you hamas loving ahole
Hamas toadie
Excellent point. We would be pissed off at the President, it doesn't matter which political party he's a member of.
Israel created Hamas.
I don’t give a feces about either side, bub.
