Yes… but… safeguards need to be built in for due process rights for those involuntarily committed.

What needs to be known is did he go through a yellow flag / red flag process when he was involuntarily committed earlier this year? Were any firearms taken? If so, when were they returned? Was he considered a prohibited person because of the involuntary commitment? Lots of questions on how Maine handled this situation.

taxpayers will never pay for that.

Take away his guns??? HAHAHA He could get a gun the next day or just hide them
