That is what the last speaker said at the start of the year.

Media now calling him an election denier. That’s good right?
Nah man , that’s just how the MSM gives him a plug.reverse psychology
Bacon’s endorsement is a concern..
Trump’s semi-positive statement is a plus.
he’ll probably win,
.
.
Has anyone seen his position on Ukraine funding? or bundling it?
To: CarolinaReaganFan
he’s NOT for it. He voted for the very first bill to give money to Ukraine and voted no ever since. Thank GOD

Trump: “......we think Mike Johnson is going to do really well. He is popular. He
is smart, he is sharp. He’s gonna be fantastic. I think he’s gonna be a fantastic Speaker”.......

Voted to not certify the stolen election.
Co-author of the Amicus brief filed by TX after the stolen election.
Voted against Trump impeachment.
Argued often before LA Supreme Court.
Isn’t afraid to pray on the floor of Congress. (McCarthy ridiculed Rep. Burchett because he said he prayed before voting.)
Pro life (as you said.)

Cspan is reporting that he will probably hit 217, the number he needs.

And those are the qualities that might get him elected. Hasn’t stepped on too many toes.

Saw that... Was looking more for actions in his votes that would support that. There are a few...
He’s better than McCarthy, so there’s that.

Far better— light years and a Constitutional litigant, from N. Louisiana.

It may be less if some are absent. Needs >50% from those present. CSPAN shows 429 present, with 4 NVs, from the quorum call.
So it looks like 215 is the magic number.

Some toes don’t just need to be stepped on... but stomped.
I guess we’ll see. No obvious warts is better than some of the other nominees... I’ll give him that much. Nothing really there to object AGAINST... But not a lot to advocate FOR...
Not sure I expressed that right... But I’m trying... I guess I’m looking for something spicy... and this just seems like... milk.

When Stefanik nominated him, it looks like ALL the R’s stood and applauded.
