Print war stories that appeal to Western cultural sensitivities. It’s a common ploy in modern war propaganda.
As far as I’m concerned, any corporate media story about any war is suspect, especially one that could double as a Lifetime movie.
“You are basically calling them whores”
No I am stating fact that in 2016 I was in Ukraine and the average household income was $400 a month. Very poor country and gals are looking for a ticket to the big PX. Korea has been using Stan country girls for years as Juicey Girls rather than their own. Fact they will do what it takes to make a living, like it or lump it.
“I went to the actual article, and there is no pictures of all these women except the one Lt Col. who commands their element. She looks Israeli to me.”
So you know exactly what an Israeli woman looks like? Remember Israelis are not a race but a religion.
Remember propaganda is designed to garner sympathy and sway opinions.
As to Israeli propaganda I'd note the article and headline comes from the Daily Mail, an English paper, not the IDF. The Jerusalem Post, also a private not government paper more popular in the West than Israel ran a similar story with the headline Squad of female IDF combat troops eliminated nearly 100 Hamas terrorists. Toned down headline. Different paper, that's all.
November 13, 2007. The Karakal Battalion during its first winter training session, held in an open area in Southern Israel.

AS is YOURS.
You do not stand above all the rest of us. Get down off your own high horse.
A quick google search would have led you to these guys, who according to the article showed up and reinforced the all-female tank crew:
Who do you supposed did most of the shooting and killing? What does common sense tell you? Or do you still want to maintain that the headline All-Female Israeli 'Lionesses' Combat Unit of Just 13 soldiers 'Killed Nearly 100 Hamas Gunmen is NOT propaganda?
I'm not even saying it's bad propaganda, but it's propaganda nonetheless, designed to humiliate Hamas and appeal to Western feminist sensibilities.
Everything I see and read nowadays is pure, unadulterated propaganda- I dont believe a word of this
“You do not stand above all the rest of us. Get down off your own high horse.”
So you are more worried about the rest of the world than your own country? I am mainly concerned with the good old USA. What happens in other countries is their business because we have bigger fish to fry here at home. While your attention is focused away from our own demise you are playing into their hands. Wake up!
No you're not, you liar.
This story about women in the Israeli army has nothing to do with the USA pro or con. You chose to offer your opinion just like the rest of us on this thread and further spewed your juvenile opinion on good women who serve their own country by calling them prostitutes. You thought you could cleverly get away with this smear but I challenged you.
I care more about the Unites States then you ever could, giving 22 years of my life to her.
And I can ALSO support other country's peoples when they're in the right.
Get off Free Republic, tool!
“I care more about the Unites States then you ever could, giving 22 years of my life to her.”
Got you beat with 28.5 years of service and actual combat outside the wire under my belt, not setting behind a desk so don’t patronize me with your BS. Probably a Scare Force puke who raided the Starbucks shipments between volleyball games. How were those mints they left under your pillow?
I smell pure propaganda with the article. The old Warrant officer in me can call a bluff. I can even call the bluff on you. Don’t give me that high and mighty attitude when the fact remains only 10% of the military ever really sees combat directly. I have a 90% chance on being correct Sugarplumb.
You’re an ass, gramps.
Why because I spoke the truth
