A California home used as a bomb and meth making operation before it was raided by the FBI earlier this year is now on the market for a whopping $1.55 million — and a buyer will have to foot the bill to decontaminate the property.

The 2,743-square foot, 6-bedroom house located on a quiet cul-de-sac in San Jose “has [an] inactive Meth lab and meth contamination,” according to the listing on Zillow.

The home “has not been cleared of contamination” and will be sold to the buyer “it’s it current state,” the listing says. Cleaning costs will be tacked on to the home price, which was listed for $1.425 million on Oct. 13 before increasing by $125,000 a week later.

Prices aren’t dropping. Chinese Nationals are buying over listed price. More and more houses are owned by Chinese and ran by Managment companies.

as long as we allow Foreigners to buy property without citizenship, the chinese will keep buying houses here and the prices will remain inflated.

Commerical real estate is about to tank hard though.

“Buyer Has to Clean It”

The dust and trash alone should sell for millions.

My in laws live in Placer County. They’re planning on moving back to Sonoma.

I have no idea why. They’re in for a shock.

LOTS of Chinese are buying homes in the Seattle area and driving prices sky-high. I have trouble meshing the images of the masses of poor Chinese with the huge numbers of super-rich Chinese buying up America.

Although with 1.4 billion people, even a small percentage of them being rich and buying in America is a large number. (USA population is about 311 million.)

I was just about to mention that $1.5MM isn’t going too far in Brentwood.
