I would image they need large gensets to run the lights, fans, etc. As a example, a fired of mine once worked for a generator company. They had a bad storm and had multiple rentals out at local supermarkets, normally in the 300-500kw range. They would burn upwards of 20/gph at times when the stores were open and full of customers opening cooler doors, employees running the various depts etc.
It was easy to get a fuel truck in every 24-36 hours or so, in Gaza with no refineries or deliveries to ports, etc, that quickly becomes a problem.

Not regrettably, generators rely on some source of fuel, and with the fuel already in scarcity, generators won’t be cranking along for very much longer.
Suffocation may do more to clear out the Hamas rank and file than several divisions of IDF specialists. Bunker busters might also be brought in for the really hardened localities.

Easier to use intelligence to find the tunnel network entrance then drop some CS teargas into the tunnel using aleaf blower to move the gas thru the tunnels.
If they could collapse all of those tunnels, the Strip would make a dandy harbor.

Actually, if you watch the various youtube videos coming out of Gaza you will note several highrise buildings with large solar panel arrays.
It has been noted that the bomb destroyed buildings were over the locations of vertical shafts to the main Hamas tunnel system.
Hamas did not believe the buildings and the solar arrays would be bombed into chunks and dust
Pump something poisonous into the tunnels...arsenic, chlorine...something slow and painful to die by.
