Many Palestinians openly support Hamas. The rest support Hamas privately but don't want the attention they would attract by publicly admitting it.

All Palestinians fear Hamas, fear being "outed" as not being a loyal supporter of Hamas, and would openly and actively support it if they believed it stood a high probability of achieving its goals.

In Arabia, there are no moderate Muhammadans, there are only the radicals, and their enablers.
