Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) said Monday on CNN “NewsNight” it was “very possible” that House Republicans will have a final vote for a speaker by tomorrow night.

This will be good news only if it brings a solid conservative to the speakership. This isn’t a race to fill the seat as quickly as possible even if the speaker is someone like Emmer. We desperately need a change in direction.
