They would never vote for Jesus. The egos in that building already think they are saviors.

Trump is an idiot, because anybody who sucks up to him becomes his automatic new favorite.

Maybe that was Trump's way of letting the rats know they shouldn't vote for Emmer....because Emmer said he is Trump's biggest fan.

Although...what a giant mess we have. Possibly would be harder for the critters to publicly vote against Donalds because of his skin color. Not enough experience for the job and a past that needs explaining but a very good record so far.

Thus Guy knows many who habitually stop short of saying real things in favor of implying lies or half-truths, or engaging in gossip or detraction, et cetera. FWIW

It’s not unusual for a caucus to vote behind closed doors

They be public for the final vote

And perhaps the Speaker’s powers should be reduced to parliamentary only, and the Majority Leader position is what sets the agenda, like in the Senate for the Senate President.

Those rules would only apply when Republicans have the majority. Democrats are lock-step behind Hakeem Jeffries, who keeps getting more votes for Speaker than any of the Republican nominees so far. If/when Jeffries gets the Speakership, he'll have all the power Pelosi did over the Democrat caucus.

Lets see.... suck up to Trump, get his endorsement. Seems to be the common theme among the man with the most fragile ego on the planet.

Minnesota Republic is like an Alabama Democrat.

I wouldn’t trust him one bit.

LOL...

The usual suspects are already pushing their tds....

I wonder how many of the others, who were attacking Gaetz’s actions in forcing mccarthy out, are going to show up and which uniparty person they support.

According to CTH, Emmer favors eliminating the electoral college.

By my calibrstion, that puts him well into the radical left portion of the political spectrum.

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

McCarthy supports emmer also. Things equal to the same thing are equal to each other. Trump has learned nothing.

We’re more popular than Jesus now; I don’t know which will go first – rock ‘n’ roll or Christianity

First of all, the Beatles' popularity never came close to that of Jesus. Tens of millions of Christians in Southern and Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America most likely never heard of them. And not all listeners in the West were Top 40 fans. Millions of Americans who listened to Adult Contemporary, Country Western, R&B/Soul, or classical music would have been apathetic or even disdainful of the Beatles if they had even heard of them.

Second, Christianity is very much alive, but rock and roll is dead. I don't know how to describe the unlistenable garbage spewing out of popular music stations today, but it's not the rock and roll I grew up with.
