Source in Gaza speaks to i24NEWS
According to sources within Gaza, the finalization of a potential deal is currently underway, with Qatari mediation playing a crucial role. The Red Cross are on their way to receive a group of about 50 of the abductees with dual citizenship. According to the sources, their transfer will take place in the Khan Yunis area in the south of the Gaza Strip. Should no new obstacles emerge, a deal is anticipated to be reached in the hours ahead. Israel will not be an official party in negotiations for the release of hostages with a dual citizenship. As part of the understandings and in order to allow the Red Cross personnel to reach the area safely, the sources report that there have been no Israeli airstrikes on Gaza during these recent hours.
How much are they bribing Hamas?
I’d love to know. I’ll believe they’ll be released when I see it (and I might not believe it then, either).
And the question is: who is monitoring all this back-and-forth? Wait, we know the answer. It’s very troubling that billions and billions flow out for all this aid, but we never see or hear what the money is used for *specifically.* Someone knows, but they never tell.
“Several palms were greased.”
Source in hostage negotiations: Less than 50 hostages expected to be released tonight. A source familiar with the ongoing negotiations for the release of the hostages being held in Gaza said that the number of those who may be released tonight is expected to be relatively low compared to The New York Times' report, which suggested 50 people.
The source added that the claim that there were 50 hostages did not come up in discussions currently underway between the parties.

The Red Cross supports child sex trafficking.
Qatar is supposed to be a key source of funding for Hamas, along with “counterfeit charities” and several countries’ sources of funds for them.

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on ten key Hamas terrorist group members, operatives, and financial facilitators in Gaza and elsewhere including Sudan, Türkiye, Algeria, and Qatar. This action targets members managing assets in a secret Hamas investment portfolio, a Qatar-based financial facilitator with close ties to the Iranian regime, a key Hamas commander, and a Gaza-based virtual currency exchange and its operator.
I imagine that's not in their mission statement, but I understand your disdain. I personally have never given them any money or support.
Then Hamas will simply go out and kidnap and murder a few more then sell them back.
Qatari mediation?! Or Qatari orders to Hamas, to make Qatar rise in world’s estimation?
Hopefully Israel can get some intel on the remaining hostages from the folks released and/or the Red Cross.
