Correct. First and foremost, students are customers. They paid their professor to do that. Perhaps if students paid as they went to college they would have an appreciation for the money they spend. Tens of thousands of dollars in debt to government is very nebulous to college students that never really worked to fully support themselves.
So true; but they must think they’ll be getting paid somewhere north of 90 K a year after graduation, so paying off the debt would be a piece of cake.
