Under the microscope are multiple small donations from voters who say they didn't make such donations to Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz.
In the most expensive state judicial race in U.S. history, Janet C. Protasiewicz, a liberal, defeated conservative attorney Dan Kelly in April for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
The record $23 million raised by or on behalf of the Janet for Justice campaign prompted a group of citizen investigators in Wisconsin to look into where all of the money had come from.
Election Watch, an election integrity watchdog group, has now asked the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to investigate campaign contributions made to Ms. Protasiewicz.
The complaint is based on a computer analysis of state and federal databases conducted by Election Watch.
The filing against Justice Protasiewicz is part of a broader nationwide investigation into how both Democrats and Republicans benefit from lax campaign finance rules that may result in violations of contribution limits.
Peter Bernegger, a data analyst with Election Watch, which filed the complaint, told The Epoch Times that the group’s research found that the Protasiewicz campaign has received a myriad of repetitive small contributions purportedly from the same individuals totaling at least $6 million.

The Most Expensive Judicial Race in US History Is Raising Questions
Sounds a lot like the strange donation patterns that James O’Keefe uncovered on the East Coast about a year ago. Tons of small “contributions” from people who didn’t know they had “contributed.”

Exactly like it. It seems to be a favored method of hiding large donations from questionable sources.
It’s amazing how much election fraud and corruption the mainstream media is willing to overlook. Or more likely assist in covering up.
The Obama 2008 campaign had similar large numbers of small donations that were for odd amounts, leading many to think they were foreign donations that underwent a currency conversion, say from Euros to USDs.
The lameystream media and politicians love money. Neither politicians or lamestream media care where the money comes from. When the money spent is more than what the job pays …. corruption is guaranteed and what media sources are going to work to find the money sources when doing such would guarantee the money sources to the media would dry up. We each (you and I) understand the facts yet (you and I) lack the solutions or do we lack the solutions but to have a microphone means submitting to the corruption ? Money wins most every time is spent imho

Decades ago the CLINTONS made MASSIVE use of this technique to LAUNDER CHICOM MONEY. It’s been spreading like metastatic cancer.
Chinese dishwashers.
Politics is by definition graft.
Our supposedly vigilant and courageous elected Republican prosecutors and attorney generals all seem incurious and inert on this subject.
Janet C. Protasiewicz <—- This witch is poisonous.
Just more proof our government and “Justice” systems are all bought and paid for by those who would rule us all....
When the person with the most money wins makes one wonder about the voters? Idiot, moronic, ignorant, nefarious?
Basically the same thing Obama did with illegal foreign donations in his 2008 election.
How do you eliminate money from elections? McCain Feingold only made it worse.
At some point here soon, people are going to lose respect for “judges”.
Give each candidate 5 million and say good luck. That’s how you stop it.
Let me guess. Janet is queer?
Even if Wisconsin Ethics Commission determined that the dems cheated, even if that evolved into a lawsuit and the good guys won, what would the punishment be?
The more money you got, the more ballots you can create.
