UC Davis' chancellor is condemning a social media post threatening Jews that the university said was apparently made by one of its faculty members.
A post made on X, formerly known as Twitter, said that "Zionist journalists" should be in fear, and those words were followed by a reference to their children and knife and blood drop emojis.
University police said that they determined the post was not directed at a single person and no crime was technically committed.
KCRA 3 is not naming the staff member because the person has not been charged with a crime or named by the university and we have not independently authenticated the post or been able to make contact with its author.
UC Davis Chancellor Gary May said that even public opinions considered controversial or abhorrent are protected by the First Amendment. He did, however, condemn the social media post in a statement.
"UC Davis rejects all forms of violence and discrimination, as they are antithetical to the values of our university. We strive to foster a climate of equity and justice built on mutual understanding and respect for all members of the community," the statement from May read.
Recommended Victims in Santa Cruz Mountain crash identified, new details over survivors May, in his statement, said that they are looking into whether this social media post is consistent with university-wide policy, along with state and federal constitutional protections.
That faculty member who posted on X remains employed. May explained that the University of California school system has specific procedures when it comes to faculty misconduct.
If any action is taken, May said it would be done confidentially because it's a personnel matter.
“Condemns” is not enough. Fire the SOB.
Either a neo nazi or muzzoid made the threat. Probably both.
And revoke their tenure and pension!
Should be prosecuted for terrorist threats.
“Condemns” no doubt followed by a stern letter.
Like how Hitler didn’t want to kill any individual Jews, just all of them.
So, when the "faculty member" suffers from an attack of Sudden Jihadi Syndrome and shoots up a number of "not directed at a single person" victims, the authorities can again scratch their heads and say, "Well, this person was on our radar, but we have no idea of what their motive was ..."
Hypocrites.
The name is Jemma Decristo, assistant professor and ...... wait for it ....trans!
What would happen if a Conservative Republican Professor did that?
Of course, there are no Conservative Republican Professors, so it does not really matter.
“KCRA 3 is not naming the staff member because the person has not been charged with a crime or named by the university and we have not independently authenticated the post or been able to make contact with its author.”
Of course if this had been something someone on the right had said then leftwing KCRA would blast their name all over hell and blame Trump.
And yet most Jews still vote for and support these people. It’s on them. Perhaps the ADL and other such organizations need to recalibrate their focus instead of going after any Conservative in America.
That’s one of the members of the gathering of scholars molding young minds in college.

Can lead to hundred-dollar plates
Goodness hides behind its gates
But even the President of the United States
Sometimes must have to stand naked.”

Just more transviolins?
Al Capp had them pegged BACK IN 1966 as the “Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything”.(S.W.I.N.E.)

Imagine if the post had been about BLM and negroes...
you can bet that is this was a Maga professor who said anything near to what this evil sob did, he not only would have been identified, he would be charged, fired, and maybe hung in the football stadium for show...
