Given the way(s) things have turned since Biden took office, I do think there is a good chance of a major ME war that could result in Israel badly damaged and Iran much worse. However, if this war gets tamped down and appeasement policies remain dominent, the situation in 20+ years will be much worse. The Saudis have already indicated that if Iran gets nukes, they’ll get nukes too. Others will follow.
