OK, that’s fine and dandy. Now explain to me how that really helps with anything. All it did was make the Republicans look foolish and aimless. Tell me how this makes any moderate more likely to vote Republican. And before you say “moderates don’t matter, they aren’t ideologically pure enough” think about how many elections you will win with 25 or 30% of the vote. Principles are fine, but you can’t make policy unless you win elections.
The shrillness is tiresome.
Regarding the voting:
For McCarthy’s 15 ballots, interminable as they were, was there ever any backward momentum in McCarthy’s numbers? Did he ever lose support in one vote to the next?
Only thing the creep Gaetz cares about is getting more publicity and to meet barely legal teens.
We could be attacked here by terrorists and still would not unite on a speaker.
you wont have to worry about after next year...Dems will win the House by 70 in 2024.
Jordan lost support on the second ballot and he’s losing a lot more support on the 3rd ballot. I dont see how he turns this around.

You are under the misconception that the Republic is not already broken down.
When you see an incapacitated body laying on the ground and only moving slightly, at first it may seem to be still alive.
Upon further inspection you will find that our Republic is not alive. The slight movement you see are the maggots feasting on it’s corpse.

I agree! And it’s time for the rino bought and paid for obstructionists to get on board supporting Jim Jordan for Speaker.
But the hold outs are showing their true colors supporting K street rather than the Base.
But when have the rino class ever given a rip about the desire of the Base constituents.
I’m all for having no speaker vs getting stabbed in the back by traitors.
