Rep. Garbarino is typical of the paralysis infecting the GOP. Long Island's needs take precedence over a united front against the Rats. While this attitude affects both parties, you won't catch the Rats being this stupid on something as important a a speaker vote.
Crying? I leave that to the whiners who feel that it’s *not fair* that we don’t have 250 GOP Representatives, 60 Senators and a GOP president to pass our agenda, while simultaneously nominating losers. (I’m not saying that you are one of those whiners, but boy are there a lot of them in today’s conservative movement.)
I’m reading some theories that the New York contingent are voting against Jordan because there’s a plan to put Stefanik in the position. Her nominating speech was a cover for a takeover.

Pray that Scalise and McCarthy, each of whom received protest votes and each of whom voted for Jordan, are given favor with the R caucus and moved to influence the holdouts with power and skill to vote Jordan. In Jesus’ name!

8 Republicans collude with the democrats to remove a speaker... how what is more likely to happen, a overwhelming number 213 republicans who voted to keep the previous speaker are all going to just change their mind and go along with the 8? Not likely in the least.
