God Bless Gaetz and the other patriots who did their duty.
You are sadly mistaken in your view.

Biden won Bacon’s NE-02 district 52.2% to 45.8% (due to rounding, a 6.3% victory margin for Biden).

I agree! But when do conservatives get a win? When do they fight? They fought Trump at every turn. They should ALL vote for Jordan! Until their membership declines they will not change.

“the other patriots who did their duty” includes all 212 Democrats. Nice club you’ve got there.

"Non Jordan voting GOP"
You list only six Republicans, but there were 20 who didn’t vote for Jordan. (Totals: Jordan 200, Scalise 7, McCarthy 6, Zeldin 3, and 1 each for Emmer, Garcia, Cole, and Massie.) If only six Republicans had voted for a non-Jordan candidate, then Jordan would have 214, plus probably 215 when the absent member returns, and he’d be right on the cusp of 217.
IOW, I regret to report that the Republican caucus is much worse than you give them credit for.

“I get their personal issues. But country first.
“For the good of the country and the party, they need to support Jordan.”
It’s so cute when people are naive. The good of the country hasn’t been a thing for pols for a couple (at least) decades. Their constituents’ best interests aren’t even considered.
Their only personal issues are to be re-elected, and to amass great fortune compliments of lobbyists and countries who hate America.

Burke is pretty much the father of modern conservatism, and was our leading advocate in Parliament.
There is a reason the late, great Dr. Russell Kirk titled his book The Conservative Mind: From Burke to Eliot.

Of course. Will they?
This could backfire and turn out worse than it was.

Matt Gaetz initially supported Jeb! for president in 2016 (please clap). Matt’s law license was suspended in 2021 when he failed to bay his Florida Bar fees. Oops!
To: Dr. Franklin
I believe the choice was Jordan or Jeffries.
To: Jane Long
Massie would be a great choice, but he’s not running. Jordan is.

“the guy working with the democrats to enslave our kids and grandkids”
___________
The guy who worked with all 212 Democrats was Gaetz, and enslaving our kids and grandkids is the likeliest result of his common effort with Jeffries to remove the Speaker supported by 96% of House Republicans and leave an acephalous House that won’t be able to do anything to stop Biden.

It's a reason his colleagues can't stand the guy and only some of it has to do with politics

“You really need to spend some time learning how politics works in a Constitutional Republic. “
That is a theoretical field of study.
Because understanding “how politics works in a Constitutional Republic” doesn’t tell you anything about how politics works in post-Constitution, post-rule of law Globohomo America.
