.......“I said, ‘Wait a minute, Hezbollah is very smart. They’re all very smart. — The press doesn’t like it when I say that.
Trump reiterated his claim that Netanyahu backed out at the last minute from actively taking part in the killing.
.....
“I’ll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down. That was a very terrible thing. We were very disappointed, but we did the job ourselves, and it was absolute precision, magnificent, beautiful job,” he said. “Then Bibi tried to take credit for it. That didn’t make me feel too good. But that’s all right.”
Israeli officials denied that Israel was supposed to take part in the assassination beyond intelligence efforts.

Bush Jr. and Clinton both would have been remembered better had they been one term presidents. Trump may be one of these.
Agreed…..but so what? He’s still staunchly pro Israel.
With all the horrific news, he makes it about his own hurt feelings. If anyone else, Biden, DeSantis, Hillary, would have done the same thing, Trump supporters would have been appalled.
Just Honest Don calling it like it is. No Pesident did more for Israel.
He can’t keep from putting his foot in his mouth.
Stolen Presidential election of 2020 has consequences for the whole world..
It's become the "THAS WACIST" of those with no substantive rebuttal.
Don’t forget that Bibi was one of the first world leaders to congratulate Biden on his “win”. He’s certainly earned his fair share of criticism. But Trump was Israel’s best friend during his first term. His record speaks for itself.
This is the Times of Israel.
Netanyahu was one of the first leaders to abandon Trump in post-election 2020.
Americans were grieving for their country after the “Biden election steal” became obvious.
Netanyahu’s rush to the mic to suckup when Biden “won” didn’t exactly help
him with Biden, and made Americans wonder how savvy the guy really was.
When Hamas attacked, the answer was laid bare.
The article goes on to praise Biden’s words.
So, here again, we have a choice of who to prefer:
1) the guy that says nice things about you but supports and funds the people trying to kill you
2) the guy that says mean things once in awhile but actually works to kill your enemies.
I’ll take door number 2.
Nope
The source is a left wing rag moving on
Netanyahu Did fail here, well he should get the blame for the surprise attack.
Netanyahu Did fail here, well he should get the blame for the surprise attack.
When Biden was elected, Netanyahu did the standard protocol diplomatic thing of offering basic congratulations to the new leader of Israel’s closest ally. Trump took this as a personal sleight and a stab in the back etc as he tends to do because he’s a narcissistic baby and he’s never gotten over it
In the very same message, Netanyahu expressed his deep appreciation for all Trump had done for Israel.
Israel has a Unity government now but I am sure there will be a full accounting of the intelligence breakdown that allowed this invasion by Hamas
A closer reading of the Times of Israel's op-ed is warranted: "...appeared to mock...."
Some facts not in contention. Biden is in the White House for the last years. Blinken is the Secretary of State with Nuland as Undersecretary for these last years. Ergo....
"They need to convince the low information voters that Biden is Israel's best friend and that the current Hamas/Israeli war is Trump's fault."
Again from the Times of Israel, so concerned about Trump, they write of Democrats, "the full-throated support given to Israel by serving US President Joe Biden and his officials."
Really? Full-throated? "Biden administration officials want Israel to retaliate against the vicious Hamas attack in a 'proportionate' manner, but they won’t say if there are any lines Jerusalem shouldn’t cross."

That's some "full throat."
100% that’s what they’ll see (petty, yada yada) but they were predisposed to that anyway.
Trump doesn’t care, he wears the “Petulant One” mantle proudly.
Just shows how much he is not a politician.
