These tunnels have been repeatedly bombed and blocked for more than a decade. They are used to smuggle weapons. They are a military target.
The situations are very different. Ukraine did not cross into Russia to murder, rape, kidnap & perform atrocities. Those people in Gaza, whom your heart bleeds for, danced and celebrated the actions of Hamas. They cheered at dead and maimed Israelis being paraded through the streets.
They were warned to leave. They cannot be allowed to remain to shelter and succor Hamas. No country can survive with zealots, who are willing to die to commit atrocities, at it’s border. There are no Palestinians. There are people of other countries settled there to obstruct and harry Israel. Let those countries reclaim their hereditary citizens. A two state solution is untenable. Hamas is trying to leverage their lamentations into a mandate to remain and kill Israelis day after day, year after year.
Ukraine has been indiscriminately shelling Donetsk since 2014. So there are some comparisons to Hamas and their rocket attacks. Not to mention the conduct of Azov during the time they occupied Mariupol. Or the deliberate murder of ethnic Russian civilians in Odessa.
As for Israel attacking Gaza, they are facing the same situation as Russia attacking Grozny. I was fine with the tactics Putin used in Grozny 1999 and I expect Israel to do the same.
Guess we know what side you are on. Who started this? And you defend them by not denouncing them.
