The Yom Kippur war was with Syria and Egypt, actual nation states with militaries.
Israel has really gone downhill if it needs assistance defeating Hamas based in a 6 mile by 25 mile enclave. That area would be equivalent to a small section of the roughly 600 mile long combat area in Ukraine.

Great times for us to be low on munitions and arms and for the strategic oil reserves to be near empty. Esp including the southern invasion.
Part of the pals rationale may have been the divisiveness in Israel, created by same Marxists that did the same thing here.
