Gaza delenda est.
I don’t understand modern war. I’ve wondered about this at least since the 1990s and Iraq.
WWII was different. WWI was different. Hell, our Civil War was different. War is hell, and the worse it is, the sooner the other side will decide that it prefers peace.
If I were Israel, my goal would be: “How can we kill 100,000 of those guys in the next 24 hours? What’s our plan for that?”
Who the hell cares what the world thinks? Massive death and destruction is the only — the only — sensible way to engage in war.
Gee...
Wonder if the briben administration release of 6 billion dollars in funds to iran had anything to do with it.
Hamas has asked for war and they deserve to get it good and hard.
I would think it is time for Israel in the spirit of fairness and equality adopt the rules of engagement that HAMAS uses.
“CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR.”
In WWII we burned Dresden and Tokyo to the ground with fire bombing and we then nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These actions in the major part were terror raids and some military significance. It worked and saved countless lives of our soldiers. Terror though obscene is an integral and essential function of war. You break the will of the enemy to fight. All military are backed up by the civilian population that makes the implements of war, the food, the logistics and provides the soldiers.
“If you are not willing to kill your enemy and all that stand with him, surrender for he has already defeated you.”
“Speedily and in our day!”
