Trump is not going to be Speaker. There are not enough votes in the US House to do it. There are 22 Republican in Biden districts who are never going to vote for Trump. They will put their political survival ahead of party loyalty just like they always do.
So, since Trump is a no go, who is your alternative choice?

Although I am not sure you are correct, I admit that I forgot that it is not the public who selects the speaker....it is the same house I referred to as run by the lunatics.
And it is never a good idea to make predictions bout crazies.
Still, there are signs that there are dims who red not happy with their party and who are slowly reaching the conclusion that Trump is right more often than the dim leaders and/or the rinos.
