Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Ohio) said in a Wednesday interview that he would support a theoretical vote to remove from the GOP conference the eight colleagues who voted to oust former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in the historic Tuesday vote.
“If it was up to me, I’d vote for it,” Joyce said in an interview on CNN’s “Inside Politics.”
“It’s a waste of time having conversations with these people,” he added. “And I think we need to start working and, going forward, as a unified group.”
Joyce, who chairs the moderate caucus known as the Republican Governance Group, criticized his Republican colleagues for participating in conference meetings and then voting against the group’s agenda.
“I don’t see how they can really be part of a conference when … they come on the inside, listen to what’s going on, and go outside and lob bombs in the middle,” Joyce said in the interview.
Joyce’s comments come the day after the House voted for the first time to remove the Speaker of the House. The vote was brought to the floor by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), but seven other Republican members joined Gaetz and every Democratic member to remove McCarthy from his post in a 216-210 vote.
Joyce said he supported “ground-up” decisions, so he was happy the GOP conference decided to return next week to try and elect the next speaker, rather than proceeding with another vote immediately.
“I think it’s important that everybody have an opportunity to take in what’s happening and then make a collective decision when we get back,” Joyce said.

No one cares. Petty little bitch can want what he wants, it is not going anywhere.
Sounds like this guy wants to throw out honest MAGA Republicans and make one big Uniparty caucus to enable the Bidet Regime.
‘Eff him.
Probably the first time he ever complained about R’s voting with the D’s
He should take his dolls and go home.
Nobody wants war, nobody wants to fund endless wars.
We should take care of our own, not enrich corruptocrats.

Whiny bitc# - bump for later....
Said SIX term congress critter who never held a private sector job his whole adult life and instead lives on the taxpayer’s back.
Screw him.
On another note, I find it interesting that the mix of Republicans who voted him out is not uniform. What is striking is the amount of pearl clutching going on with leftists and the media who on a normal hate any Republican.
"Probably the first time he ever complained about R’s voting with the D’s"
They dont care if democrats are in control. They just want those few out of the way that block the way to the feeding trough!
.
Has anyone ever seen Joyce on TV talking about the Biden Crimes - and the need for action against Compromised Joe?
Didn’t think so.
.
These RINOS just don’t get it do they?
Rino is just exposing how they threaten and control all members of congress to do their bidding. If members of the house and Senate can’t vote how they want to vote then there is no reason to have hundreds of them. We may as well only have one member. This is how the entire representative system has been corrupted on both the republican and democrat side. And these kinds of control tactics should be illegal.
He should be thrown in the list to be primaried when he’s up for re-election. Then there will be some Freepers that will say not to primary him because if we do and lose it might weaken him and the Dem will win in the election. Same kind of BS logic that wants Republicans to be pussies or else people will get mad at them and vote dem in the Presidential election. (Example being the CR budget)
Uniparty b1tching about fake unity
did he whine and stomp his feet when he was saying this??
