4. The article doesn’t propose an alternative.
5. Pickings are lean, the person has to accept the job, and he has to get nearly ALL the Republicans.
6. Any future leader knows that his position is in jeopardy. Killing someone is easier the second time.
Unless the author can posit a credible alternative, I am ok with Jordan. Or nobody, if that works strategically.

Jim Jordan may not be perfect, but he is better than most others. As a lifelong republican (since 1972-Nixon) I am fine with Jordan. At least he is not from a deep blue state.
I think McCarthys ouster and Jordan’s installment was a well laid plan that has been in the works for some time now by archetects Trump, Gaetz and another 7.
