Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) urges his fellow Republicans in the House to get rid of the rule that allows a single member to file a motion to vacate the chair, saying it makes the speaker's job "near impossible." He also says he hopes the Senate will move forward with regular order on remaining appropriations bills ahead of the mid-November government funding deadline.

Gaetz or “Mr. Buzzman” is now a RINO. Since he helped the Democrats plan to get rid of McCarthy (seen as a too far-right absolutist by the Dems).
As a spectacular Democrat-collaborator Gaetz has become, I don’t think he can ever dream of taking a position of importance again. He blew up the last bridge, no turning back possible now.
I have never seen such a blatant collaboration. A win-win for the Democrats.
This is the rule Pelosi eliminated for herself. The Freedom Caucus brought it back in their compromise to support RINO McCarthy.
