Nancy Pelosi was supposed to back her good friend and uni- party cohort Speaker Kevin McCarthy. She did not do that. In fact all house Democrats opted to oust Speaker McCarthy.
Obviously the uni-party Republicans were furious Kevin McCarthy was sacked.
So the acting Speaker, a RINO, ordered Nancy Pelosi and her second in command, Steny Hoyer to vacate their offices. The locks on their offices were then changed.
After years of working in the mining industry, I can promise that the people who obsessed the most about their office location, furniture, etc, were the most unproductive people on the project.
I always said, give me an office in a broom closet and in about 3-days there will be no question who is running things.
