Trump would have trouble as Speaker even with people who liked and supported him.
I’m a solid Trump supporter, but I know my man. He’s good at many things, but the qualities necessary to the Speaker’s job just aren’t in him. He’d alienate a lot of the people the position required him to schmooze. It would be a mess.
I agree. Trump is a good solid leader but not the best and building consensus. He's a doer and a shaker who knows how to get things done but not good at evening parties and schmoozing (kissing ass). A (good) Speaker needs to be good at both.
