Gee, I wonder if the Democrats appreciate this gift, further evidence of the Republicans being bomb throwers, just like Jan 6.

Now I do NOT agree with that characterization, I’m just thinking beyond the present spasm of glee, anticipating the other side’s attack vectors.

We may have once again plucked defeat out of the jaws of victory. Hope not. Hope somebody has thought about how this will play in Peoria. It surely could scramble all the real issues we should be messaging on.

We know Dems’ll run on the Republican Jan 6 InSuRRecTiOn and threats to OuR DeMOcRacY!!!!

If the US government refuses to work for the American people, then shut it down.

McKarthy was not a wartime consigliere.

McCarthy now knows he cannot use the same old excuses for running business as usual. He didn’t keep his promises, the ones he made to get the job. That is non performance in any business contract. He would be fired if he was a house builder, or engineering firm, etc...
The problem will be to get someone astute enough to navigate the byzantine House, but push through real good change. Borders, crime, inflation, trans-insanity....anti business, getting climate change lunacy (while letting the Russians and Chinese, and Indians do what they want) out of there...
If he starts supporting those initiatives, he would win back some credibility...but he will need a real turnabout...to many golden parachutes for these legislators....

This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from the movie Cool Hand Luke, “What we have here is a failure to communicate.”

Hannity is whining about it I think his side deal with bite-me about funding Ukraine was the last straw.

Perhaps Mr. McCarthy should have understood that occasionally, in D.C., you are held to keeping your promises.

Entrenched, career politicians seen to forget the a promise and a handshake are supposed to be taken very seriously.

I remember a (R) congressman from Fort Wayne, IN who PROMISED that he would only serve two terms. He was running for hid EIGHTH term when he got nailed schtupping a staffer.

Watch for RINOs to get revenge by threatening to vote for a Democrat speaker unless they get another RINO.

The same swamp GOPe uniparty rino supporters are active in this, as well as the other speaker ouster thread....

For all the uniparty rino supporters saying
the sky is falling, because there is no plans at this point on how to proceed....
or saying it's the MAGA people that have caused the 'republican' party in..

How is having the house in disarray worse than having the house under mccarthy,
who goes along with the the left in making deals and advancing their interest,
has not followed through with any of the deals that lead to his appointment,
and not done anything to advance the causes of the right?

Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy.

The Dems loved each and every one of them, because they were extremely pliable.

Matt Gaetz had the backbone to say “ enough is enough “.

The Ryan’s and the McCarthy’s and the likes are only there to muddle the republican party until the democrats can steal more seats. They were created for that purpose. This is why the republicans never achieve much when they are supposedly in power. The dark side is always sure to have a plan A, Plan B, Plan C, and so on... All ready to go.
